Refused - New Noise
I don’t think I’ll ever tire of this song, or this album. It’s one of my favourite albums. If I had a ladder, and the rungs of the ladder represented my love for albums, the Toploader album that Shaq bought me for my birthday would be the bottom rung, and The Shape of Punk to Come would be the top. If you stood on the Refused rung to climb higher you’d probably lose your balance, fall twenty feet, break your back, and end up laying on the floor listening to Toploader until an ambulance arrived. It would be sour, I think we can agree, so make sure it doesn’t happen to you. When you get to Refused, stop climbing; it doesn’t get better.
